Our story

For more than 45 years, Marluvas was taking its first steps. Today, the market leader in professional footwear, the company values ​​and recognizes the importance of all the moments of its trajectory. Only those who can look back so proudly can go on and on and on.

Dores of the Field Unit

In 1989, Marluvas began to expand its industrial park and built its first unit. With strategic location in the highway of Dores de Campos, the headquarters is next to three important metropolis: Belo Horizonte, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. They are 75,000m2, of which 12,000 are built. Currently, the unit employs around 960 employees and maintains a strong sales structure, with representatives in all regions of the country.

Captain Enéas Unit

Inaugurated on May 14, 2011, the plant has 12,000m2, with high production capacity, automation systems and state-of-the-art technology. It is a landmark for the company and for the city of Captain Enéas, as it has contributed to the economic development and increase the quality of life of the entire region. In this way, Marluvas continues its policy of investing in the quality of its products, in the satisfaction of its customers and in the well-being of its employees and the community in general.

Untitlen Piedade Do Rio Grande

Inaugurated on October 5, 2013, with the presence of Governor Antonio Anastasia, Secretary of State for Economic Development, Dorothéa Werneck, mayors of the region and state and federal deputies, the Piedade do Rio Grande unit marks this new phase of the company, which celebrates expansion times, with the installation of six new units in the Campo das Vertentes region.

Untitlen Cruzília

Inaugurated in October 2013, the Cruzília unit already has around 170 employees. The support of the Government of Mines, Municipalities, SENAI and other partners enabled the structural preparation of cities to support the great industrial advance in the coming years, as well as the creation of vocational training courses for the local labor force

Untitlen São Vicente De Minas

The installation of Marluvas in six municipalities of the region means real conditions of growth and economic development. And the growth and evolution of the company do not stop there! Marluvas celebrates a new phase. It recently introduced the redesign of its new brand, as well as new product technologies and a multi-upgrade logistics system to ensure products reach thousands of customers faster.

R $ 780 thousand were invested in each of the industrial plants. totaling approximately R $ 4.7 million. Marluvas investments in structuring totaled about R $ 7.5 million.

The new Marluvas unit in Madre de Deus de Minas. inaugurated at the end of 2013, currently has around 90 employees.

Our Business is Protection. Even Nature. Marluvas develops a series of environmental actions and projects in the communities where it operates.

EDUCAM aims to raise public and private students of Dores de Campos and Captain Enéas about the importance of preservation actions.

Recycling is another priority at Marluvas. The waste generated in the day to day is separated, reused and receive the correct destination. The work is done in conjunction with licensed companies, ensuring standardization and efficiency. Before the Environmental Project, Marluvas allocated all its waste to industrial landfills. Today, this percentage has dropped to 85% and the other 15% are sent for recycling. PU (polyurethane) waste is reused in the manufacture of traditional footwear and foam in the production of plush and cushions.

Marluvas has Sewage Treatment Stations – ETEs – in all units. Sanitary and lavatory waste is treated with daily supervision and physical-chemical analysis of effectiveness to ensure adequate follow-up.
